Welcome to London

Hello readers!

Long time, no talk! It’s been quite the craziest few weeks as I was making my big transition to London. I’m only here for a few months but I already feel like I’ve been here for a while.

My first impression of London was “oh my f*cking goodness gracious it’s cold!” As a girl from sunny southern California, the weather here was outrageous to me. However, I’m slowly getting use to it.

My second week here was horrible since I caught something and got extremely sick. It was impossible to function in my new apartment with a high fever, stuff nose, and cough. With the help of LOTS of medication I managed to get through it and was able to attend my classes and enjoy my trip to Bath.

This is just a welcome post to all the new posts about my journey here in London. First, here’s a quick recap of the past three weeks.

  1. Stonehenge and Salisbury

I’m freezing but still have a huge smile on my face because I’m standing in front of one of the 7 Wonders of the World! How incredible!
2. Bath

3. Oxford

It was such a beautiful day in Oxford. We went “punting” through a little river, visited Christ Church College where they filmed a scene in Harry Potter, and saw all the different colleges throughout Oxford.
Of course I had to do a few of the “touristy” things like try to catch a glimpse of the queen at Buckingham Palace (sadly wasn’t successful) and take a ride on the London Eye

Cheers Mate, see you on my next post!
